Half chap, western style. Features burgundy 6-7 ounce latigo front panel for better tree or brush protection and a Flex cut-out at the knee for easy mobility. The side panels are made from 4.5 to 5.5 ounce earthtone leather. Heavy 3/4" brass zippers covered by a leather panel with snap closures. We recommend choosing a size that is at least 1" larger than your snug calf measurement at the largest part of your calf. These chaps will be made from "earthtone colors" and may not be the same color as in the picture. If you are selective about color, please call us to see what colors we have in stock.

             We recommend adding at least 1" to this measurement when picking

We are proud to offer this new western half chap.  When you buy from us, you are buying directly from the manufacturer.  Our leather is a 4.5 to 5.5 ounce earthtone leather that is both good-looking, and durable.  The front panel is made of a heavier burgundy latigo leather in a 6-7 ounce weight.  This panel will provide better protection from trees, brush, and etc..  A Flex cut-out is added at the base of the knee for increased mobility.  Our chaps also have a leather panel in the back to cover un-attractive zippers.  This panel is held closed with heavy duty Dot brand snaps.  Another added feature is the removable heel strap that helps to hold your half chap in the correct position.

The term "Made in the USA" can be controversial, but we have no controversy.  We make them from scratch right here in Blackfoot, Idaho.  We make the patterns here, cut the parts here, and completely build them here.  Because we make them in-house and here in the USA, our required production time is normally only 1-2 weeks for custom made orders.  This can vary somewhat depending on our current backlog of orders but if you give us a call, we can let you know.
