  Our unique pattern is cut to provide fuller closure in the front and rear of the chaps.  This chap has a one-piece main leg without seams to wear out.  You will probably find very few if any chaps with a one-piece leg if you look on-line.  Most chaps are pieced together to save money on leather, ours are not.  The leather is a 5 ounce naked finish top grain leather and dyed all the way through so that future scratches and abrasions will not stand-out.  This leather is heavier and more durable than imported chaps and most US made chaps.  It will offer better protection for the rider and is still a comfortable weight to ride in.  The chaps are made with USA made heavy duty brass zippers  and have heavy duty snaps at base of leg.  The front belt is made with 1-3/4" wide black latigo leather front belt.  The latigo leather is a firm long lasting leather.
